VITA/EITC Education and Awareness

Learn about the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program – free tax preparation for low income individuals, families, and small businesses.   The Iowa Center and our partners manage 80 tax sites around the state.  At this event, we will share background on the program, who is eligible for these services, and how to access them.  In 2023, the program provided tax preparation services for 12,629 Iowans who received over $17 million in state and federal refunds.
