Karla Evans
Karla ensures that Iowans have access to high-quality tax planning and preparation services to help them understand and fulfill their tax obligations. Karla leads the Iowa statewide Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, and oversees the Iowa Center’s 21 VITA coalition partners to ensure that each of Iowa’s eighty VITA tax sites have consistent compliance, training, and care. She also directly oversees operation of The Iowa Center’s fifteen VITA tax sites. Karla is trained as a statistician and pays attention to every detail to ensure that our tax programs are delivered with quality, professionalism, and respect.
