The truth is, up to 80 percent of sales is storytelling, and a well-crafted elevator pitch can open the door to a valuable connection, partnership or referral.

Mackenzie Ryan, a national award-winning journalist who now owns a marketing and public relations agency, will guide individuals through a 3-step elevator pitch “recipe.”

Mackenzie Ryan is a speaker, leader and chief storytelling officer at M Ryan Media, a marketing and public relations agency that guides businesses in their story strategically.

A national award-winning journalist who most recently served at the Des Moines Register, Mackenzie has told stories in 5 states, from space shuttle launches to presidential campaigns.

She’s produced a television documentary that went to 3 million homes, recorded “drive time” radio segments and co-founded a live storytelling event that now sells out a 1,200 seat venue in Des Moines. Mackenzie also founded Faith Storytellers to teach everyday people how to tell their faith story.
