Join us for an intimate conversation on the First Friday of the month, as we hear the authentic and courageous stories of entrepreneurship from small business owners in our community.
Take with you words of wisdom, new connections, and a renewed sense of excitement for your own business endeavors.
This month we welcome Hannah Elliott, Chef & Managing Partner of Lola’s Fine Kitchen.
Hannah Elliott is the chef and Managing Partner at her family’s restaurant, Lola’s Fine Kitchen at the District in Prairie Trail, Ankeny. This is the newest venture from the family who bought you Lola’s Fine Hot Sauce.
As a self-taught chef, Hannah is taking what her mother, Carmelita(Lola), has taught her. She brings a fresh new take to her family’s recipes that are inspired by both her Filipino and Pakistani roots. The fast casual restaurant features a creative, accessible and healthy menu with a huge focus on vegan and gluten friendly choices without sacrificing flavor.
Many claim as wife, mother and business owner you can have it all, but in reality, Hannah knows it is a tough balancing act that requires organization, determination and most importantly, an amazing tribe of people who make you look good.
Gratefulness is a huge part of my everyday life. I am so grateful to those who chose to make this journey with me.
