Small Business Intake Appointment
Start your journey with The Iowa Center by scheduling an intake appointment. At this 15-minute appointment, we will review your small business goals and recommend the services that will help you achieve them. Clients interested in 1:1 business coaching and small business lending should begin with a small business intake appointment.

Small Business Tax Preparation Appointment
The Iowa Center’s in-house tax professional Mike Smith offers small business tax preparation and planning services for small businesses at a flat-rate fee. Mike will prepare and file returns (federal and state) for sole proprietors/sole owners and partnerships, and can also assist with quarterly tax estimates, partnership K-1s, 1099s, W-2s and sales tax filings.
Schedule a 15-minute review appointment with Mike to receive a proposal for services which includes an estimate of the cost, complexity and completion time for your annual return. Review appointments are available to small business owners at no cost!
VITA Tax Preparation Appointment
The Iowa Center offers free income tax preparation services for individuals, families and small businesses who generally earn a household income of $69,000 or less. This service is available through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
