My role is to develop, implement and monitor processes to ensure compliance with federal and state grant requirements, with emphasis on DHS and IRS Tax Programs. I support partners around the State who implement the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program designed to support free tax preparation service for the underserved populations. The Program helps low- to moderate-income individuals, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and limited English speakers file their taxes each year.
