The Safefood Series

Join us for the SafeFood series, three sessions covering fundamental food safety infromation
for restaurant and food service employees. The sessions cover food safety information
EVERYONE needs to know. All sessions are free and held at The Iowa Center on the
2nd Tuesday of October, November, and December 2017.

Topics include:

• SafeFood: Worker Health and Hygiene Practices (on October 10, 2017)
• SafeFood: Temperature Controls (on November 14, 2017)
• SafeFood: Cleaning and Sanitizing (on December 12, 2017)

About Dr. Strohbehn: Dr. Catherine Strohbehn has been an educator and researcher in the areas of food service
management and food service safety for 30+ years. She has presented her work to over 250 groups at international,
national and state meetings. She received the NSF International Food Safety Educator of the Year award in 201
