Kim Waltman I Owner, fullCIRCLE creative + coaching

fullCIRCLE creative + coaching, LLC founder Kim Waltman combines her lifelong obsession with horses and passion for communications into a business that guides clients toward authentic growth + acquisition of soft skills such as leadership, self-awareness, emotional intelligence (EQ), boundaries + verbal | non-verbal communications.

On the creative side, Kim provides marketing communications consulting based on more than 20 years of experience in industries from health care to commercial construction. She guides clients in developing annual action plans to reach strategic objectives.

In the coaching arena, Kim helps executives and managers become better leaders and champions for their staffs. This revival occurs during one-on-one coaching conversations or through sessions with horses as learning partners. Kim is certified in Equine Guided Education (EGE) and facilitates individual and group training sessions to accelerate learning in ways clients can apply immediately to create lasting change.

Currently, Kim is a member of the International Coaches Federation (ICF) | Association for Women in Communications (AWC) | United Strategies Public Relations (USPR) – an international network of PR + Marketing professionals + the Iowa Center for Economic Success Strategic Advisory Committee (SAC). She’s part of a ministry team with Right Turn Cowboy Church where God connects humans + horses to learn the gospel. Her peaceful place is outdoors with family, friends, horses, cattle & her dog.

Eileen Wixted | Principal, Wixted & Company

Eileen Wixted is a nationally recognized strategic communications and crisis management veteran with core competencies in the financial services, nuclear energy, agribusiness, and health care industries. As a strategist and communication trainer, she has helped clients navigate brand damaging issues as well as coached them to face hostile media interviews and government investigations.

An experienced executive coach, Eileen prepares clients for investor conferences, shareholder meetings, quarterly earnings conferences and congressional testimony. She has prepped executives for interviews with national and international news outlets, including TODAY, MSNBC, Squawk Box, Good Morning America, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and many others. Companies and organizations across the country turn to Eileen for expert communication counsel that drives business goals as they face sensitive issues.

Eileen uses the same business-driven approach while assisting professionals working in nuclear energy, manufacturing, finance, health care and non-profit organizations. She provides counsel to two-thirds of the commercially-owned and operated nuclear power plants in North America as well as a significant number of the nation’s hospitals.

Eileen is the principal of Wixted & Company, the author of Media Guide to Radiological Issues and was named the 2016 Women Business owner of the Year. She also served as interim senior vice president of communications & government affairs for Advocate Health Care, the largest health care system in Illinois.

Prior to Wixted & Company, Eileen spent more than a decade as a broadcast journalist receiving an Emmy Award. Eileen is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in mass communications. She is a native of Brooklyn, New York and the mother of four children.


Networking 101
Danny Beyer | Author, Speaker, Connector

Danny Beyer is a networking specialist and bow tie aficionado. He helped organize the Des Moines Area LinkedIn Social – an event that draws hundreds of professionals from throughout the Greater Des Moines area to build real life connections.  In 2013 he co-founded the Bow Tie Ball, a charity event centered on bow ties and networking that has raised over $50,000 for Young Variety.  His first book, “The Ties that Bind:  Networking with Style” was published in 2015.

Danny is a keynote speaker on networking and building relationships. He has been a contributor to the Business Record and DSM Magazine and is currently the West Des Moines Chamber Board Chair.  In 2013 he was chosen as the Amy Jennings Young Professional of the Year through the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s Young Professionals Connection and was selected to the 2014 Business Record 40 Under 40 group.

Amy knows that when individuals invest in their business strategy, brand and customers, great things happen. That’s because she’s been helping people and companies do just that for over 20 years. Amy brings the business acumen, research skills, data analytics and strategy to the clients she serves.

Her professional fulfillment comes when the organizations she works with recognize the value of business and marketing strategies – be this as they are building their organization and brand, augmenting their brand, re-working their brand, or simply better communicating their brand. And when identified goals and objectives are achieved, there is nothing but a positive return for the organization and the customers it serves. She is passionate about ensuring the businesses she works with are in fact setting and optimizing their goals along the way.

Amy is passionate about our local community, managing all programming for The Iowa Women’s Business Center. She determinedly works to ensure entrepreneurs and small business owners alike have the resources they need to achieve financial success.

Amy earned her undergraduate degree in Marketing and Public Relations at Marquette University, and her master’s degree at Drake University. Throughout her career she has collaborated with brands such as Canon, Miller Electric, Snap-On Tools, SunTrust Banks, Campbell Hausfeld, Hobart Food Equipment Group and more. The variety of partners she’s served over her professional career offers the diversity in strategy that all businesses can benefit from.
